Midland Health is a leading Private GP Clinic in the Midlands. Our flagship clinic in Edgbaston opened in 2021, and this is where you will be based. This is a customer-facing role, providing a warm welcome for all who attend our clinic. Whether at the front desk or responding to calls/emails, your upbeat and positive personality will shine through and put our patients at ease.
We have recently opened a second clinic in Edgbaston, we are seeking more team members to join our Reception and Customer Service team.
We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Coordinator to join our small and welcoming team, salary of up to £24,375 per annum.
This is a full-time position, working shifts between 8.00am - 7.30pm weekdays and 8.00am - 4.30pm Saturdays
The ideal applicant will have good levels of literacy, IT skills and fantastic interpersonal skills. It is important that you understand and commit to the responsibilities of the role.
As this position is focused on engaging with and speaking to patients, either by telephone or face to face, we require the successful candidate to be a good communicator: calm, courteous and always have a professional approach. You must be able to work using your own initiative and have outstanding organisational skills.
Previous customer service experience and GP reception experience would be an advantage.

The main duties will include:

  • Reception work: meeting and greeting patients
  • Answering telephone and dealing with a range of patient enquiries
  • Booking appointments and follow ups
  • Taking requests from patients for prescriptions
  • Supporting GP’s and Consultants during their clinics
  • Scanning documents
  • Timely referrals to outside agencies
  • Using the in-house patient computer system
  • Responding to email enquiries promptly
  • Excellent record keeping

In return you will be entitled to an enhanced annual leave and sick pay schemes and working in high class facilities.
