Job Position Chemist – Plant Job Responsibilities Supervise and verify chemical test results to make sure they are accurate and meet plant safety and environmental standards. Monitor and adjust chemical feed in systems such as boiler water, cooling water, and flue gas treatment. Track chemical usage, maintain inventory, and place orders as needed—while sourcing from the best-value suppliers. Work closely with chemical service providers to cross-check test results and ensure consistent system performance. Analyze chemical consumption data to identify process issues or equipment maintenance needs early. Provide training to operators and other staff on correct sampling, testing, and chemical handling procedures. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Ability to work at Gulf Pluak Daeng, Rayong (GPD) Experience in Power Plants will be an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instruction manuals. Minimum 2 years of experience in chemical testing, water treatment, or emissions control in an industrial setting. Solid understanding of water chemistry, combustion by-products, and environmental compliance requirements. Familiarity with laboratory instruments, chemical safety, and quality control procedures. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with operations teams. Ability to travel/work upcountry and abroad. Good command in English (Minimum 600 TOEIC score).
