POSITION SUMMARY

The Carlyle Group’s Global Private Equity (GPE) team within the Global Technology & Solutions (GTS) organization is seeking an experienced, business-savvy Data & Reporting Product Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of our enterprise data and reporting platforms. This role plays a critical part in enabling data-driven decision-making across Deal Teams and Fund Management.
You will own and enhance a robust suite of reporting solutions powered by Snowflake, Power BI, Seismic, UpSlide, SQL, and Excel-based tools, and partner with business stakeholders and data engineers to deliver trusted, scalable insights across the private equity lifecycle. You will also manage business analysts, lead Agile ceremonies, and be accountable for maintaining Jira to support backlog management and transparency throughout the Agile SDLC.
You will manage and support reporting related to fund performance, portfolio company financials and KPIs, valuations, budgeting & forecasting, pipeline activity, and operational metrics. Data flows through and from a variety of systems including Anaplan, Chronograph, Salesforce, DealCloud, and proprietary platforms integrated via Snowflake.
While business analysts are responsible for writing business requirements, the Product Manager is accountable for ensuring that requirements reflect true business needs and strategic objectives.
