JOB DESCRIPTION
Architects, designs, and provides technical oversight of the development of GPU compiler software that enables Intel GPUs. Scope may span the entire stack including compiler frontend and backend, hardware/software interfaces with a performance mindset. Responsible for pathfinding and providing technical direction for hardware/software co-design. Interacts with technologists across Intel and within the industry to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: - BS/MS Degrees in Computer Science with 10+ years of experience - Deep knowledge of GPU compiler technologies and architecture - Deep knowledge of 3D APIs such as OpenGL, D3D - Hands on coding and expertise with C++, LLVM Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Performance tools and technologies - Expertise in both Windows and Linux environments - Experience with AI/ML technologies applied to compilers Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
