JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various scientific disciplines, including biology, chemistry, physic and mathematics, and will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, implementing effective teaching strategies, and supporting students in their academic growth.

SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of scientific concepts including trigonometry, geometry, calculus, algebra, and differential equations.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Experience working with diverse student populations including special education needs.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
• Familiarity with academic advising and education administration practices.
• Ability to conduct scientific research and apply findings to enhance teaching methods.
• Experience in elementary, higher education teaching or private school settings is a plus.
• Strong proofreading skills for lesson planning materials and assessments.

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards for science education.
• Teach a variety of science subjects, including but not limited to organic chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology, genetics, and molecular biology.
• Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom instruction and facilitate student engagement.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and dissections while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor students in their academic pursuits and provide tutoring as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and instructional design initiatives.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
