II. Job Summary This position is responsible for investing in the Malone Residence Life program and in an assigned residence hall through community development, leadership development, interpersonal development, conflict resolution, and mentorship. Resident directors help to develop, coordinate, and maintain a residential program that strives to provide a safe, hospitable, Christ-infused residential space for students in order to support their holistic development.  IV. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Provide oversight of their residence hall and the students who reside there * Help plan and attend RA training sessions during Fall and Winter training, and support ongoing training of RAs * Support and enforce all University policies, rules and regulations governing residence halls * Facilitate all mandatory housing events, including check-in, check-out, housing selection, and RA selection * Facilitate weekly meetings with your RA staff * Report maintenance needs to our Maintenance staff * Work with your Resident Assistants to coordinate and implement residence hall events * Serve in the on-call duty rotation for responding to RA and resident concerns and emergencies * Serve as a liaison for student conduct meetings as assigned by the Dean or Associate Dean * Maintain an active presence in your residence hall  * Support crisis intervention procedures and contact campus personnel as needed * Other duties as assigned  V.
