Job Description: Full Time, Fixed Term until 10 August 2027 Challenging and Rewarding Clinical Environment Friendly and Dynamic Team Comprehensive Rotational Program Across Multiple Specialties About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Department at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. As part of our supportive and collaborative team, you will participate in a structured rotational program across the Fitzroy, Kew and Hawthorn campuses, gaining experience in a broad range of clinical areas including: Musculoskeletal Neurosciences Cardiorespiratory Emergency Mental Health Rehabilitation Rotations typically occur every four months, providing excellent opportunities to develop diverse clinical skills and experience across acute, sub-acute and rehabilitation settings. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy assessment and management within your allocated clinical area, while contributing to multidisciplinary care and service improvement initiatives. Please note that cross-campus work, weekend shifts and public holiday participation are required as part of this role. Classification: VA3 – VA7 ($70,590.00 - $85,872.80 per annum). Key Responsibilities Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management for patients within allocated clinical areas. Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, ward rounds and discharge planning. Represent physiotherapy perspectives at relevant patient, team and departmental meetings. Maintain effective communication and comprehensive clinical handovers. Contribute to service development, quality improvement and innovation initiatives. Support a culture of collaboration, learning and continuous improvement. Your Contribution To be successful in this role, you will have: Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Experience and knowledge of physiotherapy management within a healthcare setting. Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A commitment to patient-centred care and evidence-based practice.
