Irene Primary School has the following SBG teaching vacancy:
We seek to employ a suitably qualified intermediate phase (grade 4-6) MATHEMATICS TEACHER who is willing to join our school from August 2025.

Job description:

• Cultivate a love and appreciation for Mathematics
• Plan and deliver engaging, conceptually rich lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain high standards of academic excellence and learner achievement.
• Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school and support the broader ethos and values of the institution.
• Participate in department planning, assessment development, and curriculum review.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• B ed Degree with Mathematics as a major
• An honours in Mathematics education will be advantageous
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the Intermediate Phase
• Confident in using ICT in teaching.
• Registered with SACE.
