JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grademan to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly graders, and will be responsible for ensuring the precision and quality of grading work on various construction projects. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience with conventional grading (Level, Tape measure, Hand Level, Stringline ETC.)
• Experience with GPS
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements.
• Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous.
• Must understand stakes and blueprints.

• Operate heavy equipment including graders, backhoes, and loaders to perform grading tasks.
• Prepare surfaces for paving by digging, leveling, and building as required.
• Ensure that all grading work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate tasks effectively.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
