POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking experienced Grader Operators to join our Civil Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision grading and finishing work to support road construction, earthworks, and infrastructure projects. This role requires a safety-minded operator with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience as a grader operator in civil construction required.
  • Valid driver’s license (Class 5 required; Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
  • Strong understanding of grading techniques, slopes, and road construction practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and survey instructions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and shift work as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Operate grader equipment to perform road building, finishing, ditching, and slope work.
  • Follow grade stakes, blueprints, and project specifications to achieve accurate results.
  • Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, surveyors, and crew members to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to company and industry safety standards.
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and to quality standards.
