A K-12 school in the Webster, NY area is seeking a certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support students across Grades K-12. This contract position offers an itinerant caseload working directly with students who are blind or partially sighted. The assignment runs through the current school year (CSY).

Key Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Certification in Blind and Partially Sighted required
• Preference for candidates with Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) certification
• Experience supporting students in Grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Ability to provide itinerant services across multiple grade levels

Responsibilities include assessing visually impaired students, developing and implementing individualized instructional plans, collaborating with educators and families, and providing orientation and mobility support where applicable. The role demands a flexible and student-centered approach to meet diverse needs in various school settings.
