Job description
Capital Grading is seeking an experienced Grading Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in site development and grading projects, with at least 5+ years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily grading operations and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Supervise crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators on site
  • Coordinate schedules, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding progress and site conditions
  • Review and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to field staff

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent or foreman in grading/site development
  • Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and earthwork operations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage crews and multiple priorities on active job sites
  • HCSS proficiency preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
