Due to an internal transition, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our finance team and support the company’s financial operations.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed or near-completed degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Ability to work full-time.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in accounting or a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Graduate Accountant, you will play a key role in providing monthly results to Management, assisting with various administrative and accounting functions across the business. You will work closely with the finance team and be mentored within the role to ensure the smooth running of financial operations, while also contributing to the achievement of overall business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management financial reports for senior management.
Monthly Stocktakes: Complete inventory stocktakes to ensure accurate reporting.
General Ledger Reconciliations: Perform general ledger reconciliations and prepare appropriate journals.
BAS Returns: Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS).
