An opportunity exists for a motivated and detail‑oriented Graduate Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Manager, Accounting and Tax, this role supports a wide range of accounting activities that contribute to the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of financial operations across Toro Australia’s legal entities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent finance or accounting graduate seeking hands‑on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. What will you do? Prepare month‑end and other journals for review and approval Complete general ledger reconciliations in OneStream Assist with end‑of‑month reports and reconciliations Process bank statements and prepare bank reconciliations Conduct monthly lease certification activities Support material costing processes, including daily costing of new materials and ECNs Maintain service debtor AR accounts and trade material value Process customer cash discounts and rebates Assist in preparing balance sheet schedules for planning and projections Prepare schedules for fringe benefits tax, electricity and motor vehicle lease costs Support the preparation of income tax returns, fringe benefits tax returns and financial statements Provide assistance with internal and external audit requests Undertake other accounting duties and special projects as assigned Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation, safety requirements and ethical standards Adhere to all WHS/OHS responsibilities, policies, procedures and safe work practices What do you need? Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline Intermediate skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to changing priorities Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines A motivated and positive “team player” attitude Who are we?
