Description

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team within this established organisation. Role will be reporting to the Management Accountant and you will be responsible for all aspects of purchase ledger.

Key duties include;

  • Receiving, registering domestic and foreign currency purchase invoices from suppliers
  • Reconciling goods receipt to purchase invoices and advising suppliers, if any queries
  • Ensure that invoices have the appropriate authorisation prior to processing payment
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure that all invoices are dealt with in line with audit requirements and within time scales
  • Reconciliation of Supplier accounts on weekly basis
  • Monthly reconciliation of statements

Filing and archiving

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Finance Graduate or AAT
Excellent Excel skills
Knowledge of accounting software packages (SAP/Dynamics/Sage)
Attention to detail
Previous exposure to Accounts Payable and other areas of transnational duties
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
