Are you looking for a highly varied controls and automation position working collaboratively on a range of high value bespoke projects with a high level of autonomy?

In this position you will work with the design, manufacturing and engineering teams to build, test, install and maintain complex, custom made manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot and program PLC’s and HMI’s, travel to customers sites to carry out equipment installation and maintenance working both mechanically and electrically. This is a highly varied position where no two projects are the same, with complex equipment sold to a variety of industries. This position would suit someone who is looking for technical challenges, the opportunity to learn and become an expert, progressing into more advanced positions.

The Position:

• Troubleshoot, fault find and program PLC & HMI’s on a range of bespoke, market leading machinery
• Build, test, install and maintain equipment at customer facilities
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and engineering team on varied projects
• Overtime, specific training and technical career progression on offer

• Controls Technician
• Able to troubleshoot or program PLC’s/ HMI’s
• Willing to travel to customer sites as and when needed
• Eager to learn and develop skills further
