JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have opportunities in our Leicester office for Graduates with a keen interest in developing skills in civil & structural engineering to join our busy highways, bridges and infrastructure design team working on a variety of high-profile projects. Our projects range from major highways schemes to small junction improvement works for a variety of clients including Government bodies and private developers in both the Public and Private Sector.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Minimum 2.1 degree in Civil Engineering) (MEng, BEng, BSc)
• Previous technical / industry experience
• MS Office skills
• Experience in the use of Civil Engineering design software including AutoCad
• Commitment to achieving professional qualifications in engineering/chartered status
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Suitability for security clearance

KEY DUTIES

• Undertake design for a wide variety of highways, bridges or infrastructure design projects
• Assist in design reviews and verification checks, as required
• Support in the delivery of major highway projects, bridges and utilities
• Assist in the contract administration of projects
• Provide technical assistance to the members of the Civil/structural Engineering team
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and stakeholders
