Job Overview
As a Graduate Civil Engineer working with Nimbus Engineering, you will be working in a small supportive and encouraging Engineering firm, who invests in their staff and provides an environment that is a flexible, with a friendly culture based on trust.
You will have the opportunity to work on various sized projects with clients based throughout the UK. You will be given hands-on support, encouragement and guidance to be the best you can be in order to carry out your duties.
Responsibilities

Working closely with the design team, you will be supporting the wider team in the production of Flood Risk Assessments, Infrastructure design as well as the design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS). Other duties which will include, but won’t be limited to:

  • Project Coordination
  • Liaising with 3rd parties to obtain necessary information
  • Liaising with clients
  • Building network models in industry standard software
  • Producing design drawings using AutoCAD
  • Report writing

Skills

We would love to hear from you if you:

  • Are Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or appropriate science
  • Have a passion for Flood Risk, Sustainable Urban Drainage Solutions (SuDS), Drainage, Infrastructure.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, yet supporting environment
  • Some previous experience would also be a bonus, but not a necessity
