ROLE – Civil Engineer – Water & Wastewater  SALARY - $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience  

TYPE – Permanent  

LOCATION – Adelaide, SA  

My client provides specialist engineering solutions across the Water and Wastewater Treatment sector. They are looking for a Civil Engineer with relevant Water industry to join their growing team in Adelaide.  

The Civil Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Civil Engineering, Design Engineering, or similar role
  • Experience working on Water, Wastewater, Industrial Process, Utilities, or similar engineering projects
  • Experience delivering water treatment, wastewater treatment, pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants, drainage, concrete structures or similar infrastructure projects
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans and technical documentation
  • Ideally have experience using civil design or 3D modelling software
  • Experience working through project lifecycles, from design through to construction, commissioning or handover
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
  • Strong project coordination, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

 The Civil Engineer role will involve:

  • Producing concept designs, detailed engineering drawings, civil layouts and technical documentation
  • Assisting with the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and treatment systems
  • Working on civil elements including pipelines, drainage, concrete structures, accessways and site infrastructure
  • Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams
  • Providing technical engineering support across design, procurement, construction and commissioning
  • Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, reports and technical information
  • Coordinating project activities to ensure programmes, budgets and quality requirements are achieved
  • Supporting construction, testing and commissioning activities where required
  • Working within a collaborative, growing engineering team on a variety of projects
