JOB SUMMARY

CK International are seeking a Graduate Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative engineering solutions.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and working closely with a Senior Engineer, this role offers hands-on involvement in a variety of projects. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the full development process of bespoke baling machinery — from concept through to delivery — including aspects of hydraulic and electrical system design.
While based in Dungannon, projects span a wide range of locations, giving exposure to diverse engineering challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop initial concept drawings and models for customer proposals.
• Progress concept designs into detailed engineering designs, incorporating mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical features.
• Produce accurate manufacturing drawings.
• Modify existing designs to meet bespoke customer requirements.
• Respond to customer queries and provide technical support throughout the project.
• Liaise with the manufacturing team to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Maintain technical specifications and user documentation.
• Complete and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Travel to site to assist with machinery installations and commissioning.
• Support the Aftersales team with troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues.
