Find out more about us here. What does a Graduate Developer do at NextGen? As a Graduate Developer at NextGen, you will join a collaborative engineering team to learn, build and deploy production software. You will translate product requirements into reliable code, participate in peer code reviews, and assist with testing and troubleshooting to help maintain a high-quality codebase. This role is designed for recent graduates or entry-level developers keen to accelerate their career in fintech. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure and efficient software using modern programming languages and frameworks under the guidance of senior engineers. Participate in code reviews, accept and provide constructive feedback, and work closely with product managers, designers and QA to deliver features on time. Troubleshoot, debug and help resolve production issues; contribute to incident reviews and follow-up actions. Essential Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar. Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
