Job Description
Join us in a permanent role, kick-starting with a 2-Year development program, designed to help build your career at AECOM and ensure you are equipped with a strong foundation to transition into a professional role at the completion of the program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Interest in power / power papers preferable.
  • Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
  • Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2026. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2026
Responsibilities

As a Graduate Engineer within our highly successful Transmission & Distribution team, you will be involved in both the primary and secondary design of substation projects throughout Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). When you transition to a professional-level role, you can decide where your interests lie and what opportunities you want to pursue further.
You’ll be working in a supportive, experienced team with a wide range of high-calibre clients on the preparation of substation electrical drawings and studies such as grounding, lightning protection, and power systems analysis. Each day will provide new opportunities and challenges.
