Job Description The Graduate Electrical Engineer develops foundational analytical and design skills while working under the close guidance of experienced engineers. The role involves assisting in engineering design activities, including preparing calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematics, and final working drawings. The engineer collects and analyzes technical data, applies engineering software to solve basic problems, and supports project tasks to ensure work is delivered according to agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards, all under supervision as part of early career development. This role is a part of our 24-months Advance graduate program. As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in accordance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role. Job Responsibilities Builds analytic and design skills. Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision. Qualifications UAE National (with a valid Family Book). Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork capabilities. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, engineering principles, and safety standards. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar tools (preferred). Willingness to learn and develop within a structured early career program.
