As a graduate with the company you will work with an experienced team of engineers and technicians across all disciplines, you will also receive continuous on the job training and will benefit from our commitment to supporting our employee’s development, this includes: Job Description Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and energy infrastructure projects. Contribute to energy audits, helping clients identify opportunities for energy optimisation and decarbonisation. Work on renewable energy integration projects, including solar PV, wind, and hybrid power systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams – including civil, process, and mechanical engineers – to ensure fully coordinated and sustainable designs. Support the preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications in line with Egis quality, safety, and environmental standards Qualifications Hold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification Electrical Engineering Strong teamwork, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management abilities; comfortable interfacing with multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety. Understanding of electrical distribution systems, control and instrumentation used in water/wastewater and energy infrastructure. Awareness of renewable energy technologies. Familiarity with design and modelling software like ProDesign, PVSol, AutoCAD, and or similar design tools.
