Job Description As a Graduate Electrical Engineer within the Power Distribution Group, you will contribute to a variety of projects and tasks that apply your technical knowledge while developing your skills and experience. Your core responsibilities: Carry out electrical and electronic design, build, and test activities across UKAEA programmes. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure electronic systems are demonstrably safe through hardware and software review and analysis. Contribute to the design, specification, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV, LV, and HV electrical systems. Support development involving HDL and embedded C software where appropriate. Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting on electronic and electrical systems. Participate in technical studies and produce clear, robust supporting documentation. Gain experience in simulation modelling and analysis.
