• Work with the Electronic Engineering team to learn the system and the electronic assemblies which are the major components of the optical switch
• Learn the design and development process at Huber Suhner Polatis. Working with other discipline teams to understand the roles of the different engineering functions and interdependencies between the teams
• Create technical documentation to help with knowledge transfer to other parts of the business. Create block diagram, functional description, simulations and tools to help with knowledge transfer
• Investigate problem reports from customer returns and production failures. Triage problem reports, understand issues, run investigations and tests to reproduce problem reports. Keep all stakeholders up to date with progress and any blockers
• Test Equipment design and development
• Verification testing and report writing
