Role description: We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer with 0–1 years of experience to support transport modelling assignments, junction improvement studies, and traffic data analysis projects. The role offers an opportunity to work on urban traffic and transport planning projects, assisting senior engineers in analysis, modelling, and technical documentation. Role accountabilities: * Assist in the development and analysis of transport modelling assignments, including data preparation, network coding, calibration support, and interpretation of results. * Support junction improvement studies by analysing existing traffic conditions, reviewing layouts, and contributing to the development of geometric and operational improvement proposals. * Conduct and analyse traffic surveys, including classified volume counts, turning movement counts, speed and delay studies, queue length surveys, and pedestrian counts. * Perform traffic data analysis using Excel and other analytical tools to derive traffic performance indicators. * Assist in building and analysing traffic simulation models using tools such as VISSIM, SUMO, SIDRA, SYNCHRO, or similar software. * Prepare basic drawings and traffic layouts using AutoCAD and support GIS-based mapping tasks where required. * Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, and presentations. * Participate in site visits and field assessments to understand on-ground traffic conditions. * Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Qualifications & Experience: * Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering or a related field. * 0–1 years of relevant experience (including internships). * Basic understanding of traffic engineering principles and transport systems. * Exposure to or willingness to learn transport modelling and simulation software. * Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS (QGIS/ArcGIS) is preferred. * Good analytical skills and attention to detail. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
