Join us at AECOM as a Graduate Engineer - Electrical or Mechanical and become part of our Dry or Wet Utilities team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will support the design of dry utility networks such as, power, telecommunications, street lighting, and related infrastructure. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the design of all Water and Wet Utilities related projects. You will contribute to building reliable, sustainable utility networks that meet the evolving needs of urban developments and critical infrastructure projects. Under the guidance of senior team members, you’ll gain hands-on experience, build technical skills, and contribute to innovative project solutions. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design of dry/wet utility networks, including LV/MV power distribution, street lighting, and telecom systems, water systems, wastewater hydraulic networks. Apply design and technical knowledge to contribute to high-quality outputs within project timelines. Perform work following agreed-upon budget and schedule guidelines, under supervision. Collect and analyze information from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM models as needed. Utilize computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems efficiently. Coordinate with Engineers from other disciplines to ensure continuity of the design process. Participate in design progress and coordination meetings to contribute insights and updates. Verify and ensure the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams, ensuring accuracy to design instructions. Actively seek information and opportunities to contribute, develop efficiencies, and solve problems effectively. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university: Candidates must be recent, 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program. Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
