JOIN AECOM’S 2026 GRADUATE PROGRAM

Are you passionate about geotechnical engineering and eager to launch your career with a global leader in infrastructure consulting? AECOM is seeking a motivated graduate to join our team as a Graduate Engineer – Geotechnical/Ground Engineering in our Dubai office. This role is part of our Graduate Program, offering the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gain exposure to diverse projects, and develop essential skills in geotechnical design and analysis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Degree in the following with a focus in one or more of the below subjects from an accredited University
  • Geotechnical Engineering
  • Engineering Geology
  • Geological Engineering
  • Foundation Engineering
  • Soil Mechanics
  • Rock Mechanics
  • Rock Engineering
  • Mining Engineering
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates (no later than Sept 2025) to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.3 or 2:1 (or equivalent) and above.
  • If you hold a Master’s degree, it must have started within 12 months of finishing your Bachelor’s to meet the program’s continuous education requirement.
  • Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.

Responsibilities
  • Develops designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models as per specific discipline requirement. Works on drawings under the supervision of an experienced Engineer.
  • Assists with the design content by applying both design and technical knowledge to ensure high-quality outputs under project timelines.
  • Under Supervision, performs work following the agreed-upon budget and schedule.
  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving fundamental engineering problems.
  • Coordinates with other discipline Engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
  • Participates in design progress and coordination meetings.
  • Actively seeks information, opportunities to participate and contribute, and develops efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Contributes by solving problems and applying experience or theoretical knowledge to atypical assignments.
