Are you a motivated graduate with a passion for engineering in the maritime industry? AECOM invites you to apply for the role of Graduate Engineer - Ports & Marine within our dedicated team. This opportunity is part of our Graduate Program, where you will work closely with experienced Engineers on exciting port and marine projects.

About the Role: As a Graduate Engineer - Ports & Marine at AECOM, you will play a vital role in developing designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and project models according to specific discipline requirements. You will collaborate with experienced Engineers to ensure high-quality outputs within project timelines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with design content using design and technical knowledge to meet project objectives.
  • Performing work under supervision to meet budget and schedule requirements.
  • Collecting and analyzing information from discipline-specific and interdisciplinary project BIM models.
  • Utilizing computer software to solve fundamental engineering problems.
  • Coordinating with other discipline Engineers to maintain design continuity.
  • Participating in design progress and coordination meetings.
  • Ensuring the quality of model production by BIM/CAD teams, verifying accuracy to design instructions.
  • Actively seeking information and opportunities to contribute to project efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Solving problems and applying knowledge to atypical assignments, contributing to project success.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in one or more of the following subjects from an accredited University
  • Structural engineering
  • Geotechnical engineering
  • Coastal engineering
  • Marine engineering
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
