Key Requirements for GET – Methods / Industrial Engineering Basic understanding of Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Processes. Knowledge of Time Study, Work Measurement, and Line Balancing concepts. Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and basic production KPIs. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, Waste Elimination, and Visual Management. Basic knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles Exposure to process mapping, process flow diagrams, and method improvement techniques through academic projects or internships. Awareness of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing fundamentals. Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, and basic data analysis. Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support improvement initiatives. Good communication skills and willingness to work on the shop floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams. B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related disciplines) with a strong academic foundation.
