As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you will support the English department by:

• Working 1:1 and in small groups with students who require additional support in English.
• Assisting in the delivery of creative and engaging English lessons.
• Helping students with GCSE preparation, coursework, and overall literacy improvement.
• Encouraging active participation in discussions on English literature and language.
• Supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning, particularly in writing and comprehension.
• Preparing learning resources and helping maintain a well-organised classroom environment.
• Collaborating with teaching, SEN, and pastoral staff to support every learner’s success.
