Based out of our Hobart office, and with a degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering, your interest in getting out into the field on a wide variety of projects throughout Tasmania and beyond will serve you in good stead in this position. A little more about the role can be found below: Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Working with intermediate and senior staff implementing environmental investigations including conducting field investigations, including drilling (various rig types), monitoring well and soil vapour installation oversight; conducting and coordination of environmental monitoring (soil, sediment, groundwater, soil vapour, surface water); Field oversight of contractors; Assistance with field scope development, scheduling, budgeting Assistance with data compilation and interpretation Preparation of technical environmental reports for senior review Maintain safety training to conduct environmental contaminated sites work Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. What you will bring to the team: Will graduate by December 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or equivalent 0 to 2 years of experience in environmental consulting Has a strong interest in chemistry, soil, groundwater, contamination assessment, and remediation methods. Knowledge of contaminated sites regulation and associated guidance, protocols, and guidelines. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Excellent writing and verbal communication is required to effectively express technical information to multiple audiences including subcontractors, clients, colleagues, etc. Strong technical writing, data analysis and interpretation skills.
