Job Title: Graduate Finance Analyst
Salary: £27,000
Study Support: CIMA
Location: Manchester
Hours: 9am – 5pm (flexible working hours available)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2:1 degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Maths, Data Analytics, or a numerical discipline (Graduated in 2024)
  • Strong Excel skills and willingness to learn financial modelling and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL)
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial insights clearly
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadlines
  • Motivated to study towards CIMA qualifications (study support provided)
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
  • Analyse large sets of financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making
  • Perform reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Work with senior finance analysts on process improvements and automation projects
  • Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP
  • Present clear, data-driven recommendations to finance managers and business stakeholders
