Description:
Blending food to a high standard and ensuring compliance with Hygiene, Food safety and Health and Safety standards, food quality, service by introducing a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. The role involves the employee being an integral part of the team, working together and meeting production plans.
The Food Technician role will be to assist product and test development / improvement projects.
1. Keep regulation requirements up to date.
2. Analyze data for statistical product specification development.
3. Support research and development activities.
4. Manage keybag blending.
5. Laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.
6. Laboratory procedure protocol development, chemical risk assessment and laboratory safety and precautions.
7. Support New Product Development activities.
8. Report writing.
9. Other day-to day queries, participating in on-going projects/meetings.
