ROLE PURPOSE

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer in the Ground Investigation sector supports the delivery of ground investigation and geotechnical engineering projects by assisting with site work, data analysis, and reporting. The role provides firsthand experience in field operations and technical development under the guidance of senior engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise site investigation activities including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
  • Support site supervision activities, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Log soil and rock samples in accordance with BS5930 and company procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparations of factual geotechnical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during site activities.
  • Maintain accurate site records, photographs, and data logs.
  • Support senior engineers in project delivery and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training and development activities to build technical and professional skills.
  • Support senior engineers in delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
