INTERNAL IT PROJECTS & AUTOMATION

• Support internal IT initiatives, including implementation of tools and workflows using Zapier, API integrations, and custom scripts.
• Collaborate across departments to automate routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain documentation for all automation and integration projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, email infrastructure, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with DNS, SMTP, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and basic scripting or coding experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Bash).
• Exposure to automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of REST APIs and how to connect and use them.
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS (BONUS POINTS)

• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Mailgun, SendGrid).
• Awareness of email deliverability principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Kanban).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated and technically capable Graduate Information Security Engineer to join our IT and Security team. This is a dynamic entry-level role offering exposure to a wide range of security and IT disciplines, including email security, data protection, internal automation, and digital communications.
You will play a key role in supporting our email security and data backup solutions, managing internal IT projects involving API integrations and automation tools such as Zapier, and ensuring the successful delivery of our marketing and transactional email communications by maintaining high standards of email deliverability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEMAIL & DATA SECURITY

• Provide first-line technical support for email security solutions, ensuring protection against phishing, spoofing, and other cyber threats.
• Monitor and manage data backup systems and disaster recovery tools, ensuring compliance with data retention and protection policies.
• Investigate and escalate security incidents and assist with remediation.
