Description

Start Your Career with Purpose at Cleanaway

Build your future while helping create a more sustainable Australia.

At Cleanaway we're transforming how Australia manages waste, recycling and resource recovery. As Australia's leading waste management company, we're investing in the next generation of professionals who want to make a real impact, solve complex challenges and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Our two-year Graduate Program is designed to provide meaningful hands-on experience and structured development. Whether your passion is engineering, chemistry, health and safety, information technology, finance, commercial operations or data analytics, you'll have opportunities to learn, grow and contribute from day one.

If you're curious, adaptable and willing to roll up your sleeves, we'd love to hear from you. We work in an industry that isn't always glamorous, but makes a real difference to communities every day.

About the Program

Our Graduate Program combines practical experience with exposure to the scale and complexity of a national business.

Over two years, you'll:

  • Complete rotations across different IT teams and disciplines.
  • Be part of a graduate cohort with a shared onboarding and development experience.
  • Gain exposure to the technologies, systems and services that support our business.
  • Contribute to day-to-day operations and team initiatives in a practical, hands-on environment.
  • Receive structured learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Be supported by leaders, mentors and program peers.
  • Build a strong professional network across the organisation.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for well-rounded technology graduates who are curious, adaptable and eager to develop across multiple areas of IT. Rather than pursuing a narrow technical specialisation, you'll be motivated to build broad capability, solve problems across systems and processes, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We're interested in graduates from Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence or technology-focused Engineering disciplines. Internship, work integrated learning or other employment experience will be highly regarded.

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have completed, or be due to complete, a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate qualification before the program commences in February 2027.
  • Be an Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Be available to commence the program in February 2027.
  • Be willing to travel as required throughout the program
