Integrity engineering is all about ensuring that equipment, systems, and structures in power generation, oil, and gas, and water industries are dependable, safe, and are in accordance with legal and business stipulations. Integrity engineering primarily consists of: * Designing and implementing maintenance schedules to maintain equipment in good working condition. This could involve routine maintenance, repairs, and periodic replacement of components. * Data Analysis: Analysis of inspection data to assess the condition of the asset and predict potential failures. This supports maintenance and repair planning before significant problems occur. * Risk Assessment: Determining the risks associated with equipment failure and developing strategies to mitigate these risks. This includes creating risk-based inspection plans and prioritising maintenance. * That all activities are in accordance with industry standards and regulations. This includes compliance with codes like ASME, API, and others that apply to the specific industry.
