Description

The Graduate Investment Analyst will be assisting with the management of fixed income portfolios while supporting the Asia Fixed Income team in portfolio analytics, research, and construction. You will make investment recommendations based on fundamental research approach, planning and performing research activities to deliver quality research in investments across credit and fixed income portfolios.
We are offering a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with the potential for longer term opportunities for high performers.

The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with FSI values:

  • Fundamental analysis, reports and valuations
  • To produce effective recommendations across the Asian Bond universe, in both credit and local currency bond markets
  • To add value to portfolio performance in line with the team philosophy of credit portfolio and fixed income portfolio management by participation in specific Strategic Processes as directed
  • To represent our investment process to external parties and to continuously improve them as our markets evolve
  • To support the team in the timely production of internal and external client presentations
  • Ad hoc data analysis and production to the support the team
  • Manage weekly team meeting process
  • Be actively engaged in investment discussions
  • Reviews internal research methodology and program to ensure outcome is valid and updated
  • Adheres to the company’s code of ethics and conduct of business rules
  • Complies with the investment strategy, guidelines and regulationsTo represent our investment process to external parties and to continuously improve them as our markets evolve

Experience & Skills

  • Students graduating in 2024 / 2025 or candidates with up to 1 years’ work experience
  • Strong academic results and intellectual curiosity
  • demonstrated high numerical capability and ability to apply advanced analytical skills to investment decisions
  • Ability to understand complex financial statements Basic knowledge of Asia credit market and fixed income portfolios and genuine passion to learn
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and persuasion skills
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and collaborate with business units
  • Experience with systems such as BRS Aladdin and Bloomberg is desirable but not essential
