Job Title: Key Account Manager / Sales Executive - Covering the North West
Location: Office is located in Stockport, first 6 months office based, then out covering the North West
Salary: Upto £30,000 (depending on Experience) plus commission and Car allowance of £3k

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Graduate - Degree is essential
  • Drive and ambition to be successul
  • Driving licence and access to car is essential as there will be a lot of travel involved
  • Effective time management, ensuring pipeline activities are met, alongside day-to-day tasks.
  • A strong knowledge of the Veterinary Market, with continued development on the Veterinary industry, be this of competitors, products, prospective customers and general understanding of the industry and its make-up.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Written, oral and presentational
  • Strong computer skills, particularly on Microsoft Excel, Word & Power point.
  • Strong negotiation skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous sales experience (internships or part-time roles)
  • Experience with CRM systems
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking ambitious and driven graduates to join our clients dynamic sales team as Key Account Manager. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts for the business within the North West of England. You will also be expected to grow the sales significantly above the organic growth that exists within these accounts. You will be provided with comprehensive product training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Effective Key Account Management and Sales Growth (volume, revenue and market share) for your Key Accounts in line with the sales strategy by:

  • Analysing spend data to highlight growth opportunities within your accounts.
  • Identifying non-ordering & poor performing surgeries, and upselling into them.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with all surgeries that fall under your remit
  • Maintaining a strong business relationship with your group’s Head Office, through regular contact, updates, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Dealing with serious complaints escalated by customer service.
  • Ability to keep key objectives and goals in sight amongst a busy work schedule – Meet business and Client KPIs.
  • Developing a Business Plan for your Group

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complying with and ideally exceeding previously agreed pipeline activity targets.
  • Sending out samples to new and existing customers, with the sole purpose of increasing revenue for IMS Euro.
  • Taking ownership of decisions and actions made by yourself, across your accounts.
  • Providing ideas and strategy for marketing campaigns, both digital and non-digital.
  • Filling out, and returning in a timely manner, any price comparisons against other competitors – and translating these into Sales.
