About the role We’re looking for a graduate to join our Legal team – a small, expert team at the heart of how our organisation works. You’ll use your legal training to support a range of projects across the Ministry’s three business groups. What you’ll be doing From day one, you’ll be involved in meaningful work. This could include: legal research interpretation of legislation contract reviews understanding different clients’ needs and learning how to provide advice. No two weeks will look the same – and that’s exactly the point. Responsibilities

The graduate will support the Legal team by conducting legal research, interpreting legislation, and reviewing contracts. They will provide legal advice across the Ministry's three business groups to help improve the quality of regulation in New Zealand.
