The Project:
The marketing & communications (Marcomms) department’s purpose is to position, protect and promote the Mace brand globally and to support the business to win work.
Mace’s purpose is to redefine the boundaries of ambition, and our marketing and communications team sits at the heart of that. Our vision as a team is to be industry leading, and we are always pushing ourselves to be bolder and more creative to bring the vision of every client to life.
Our team combines a range of experts – marketing, internal communications, public relations, social media, digital marketing, creative, video and photography and events to name just some of them. This role will get the opportunity to be exposed to the different parts of the team to get experience across brand, campaigns, PR, social media, marketing operations and internal communications. You will be working predominately with our MarComms Lead for the Americas to support brand building in Latin America, specifically Peru, Colombia and Mexico.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creating quality written content for use across external channels including - website, social media, thought leadership and marketing campaigns.
  • Creates quality written content for use across internal communications channels including intranet – Conexus, inhouse social media channel – Yammer, internal emails and publications.
  • Supporting team/s in the research, development and implementation of marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Undertakes research to provide relevant insights and analysis and collaborates with business units.
  • Provides marketing support for key strategic bids and works on developing capture plans where appropriate.
  • Develops and manages the marketing contact database for area of business, ensuring accurate retention of information.
  • Supports business partner team with administrative requirements including monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Ensures the company’s purpose, corporate objectives, brand and ‘tone of voice’ are reflected appropriately in all messaging.
  • Performs standard tasks and complete procedures for the area/function, such as data management.
  • Supports projects and work streams by aiding with research, data analysis, and project coordination.
  • Follows documented policies and procedures for the area/function to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Contributes to analysing existing processes and highlight areas of improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team/area.
  • Builds knowledge, experience, and capability in the area/function through training and professional development opportunities.
  • Seeks input from senior roles on professional development and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Maintains accurate records of data and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Participates in meetings and communicate effectively with team members, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of the team/area.
  • Proactively seeks learning & development opportunities’ building their professional knowledge & skills set.
  • Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Bring experience building stakeholder engagement and brand visibility via marketing and communication campaigns in Spanish and English.
  • Have successfully executed marketing and communication campaigns supporting public or private-sector infrastructure or capital improvement programmes.
