Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
  • Perform mechanical engineering design including pumping, piping and structural.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, regulations, and industry best practices (AS1170, AS1418, AS1657, AS2033, AS4041, AS4024, AS4100, ASME B31 and more).
  • Use engineering design software and tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, Advance Steel, Plant 3D, SPACE GASS, Pipe Flow Expert, AutoPIPE etc). Similar software experience is welcomed.
  • Conduct engineering audits and reviews, prepare reports and deliver technical presentations.
  • Dive into all facets of project management of various multidisciplinary projects including preparation of project correspondence, documentation, budgets and estimates.
  • Participate in both onsite and office-based works throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Work alongside senior, principal and RPEQ engineers committed to continuously improving and delivering quality engineering services and solutions to our clients.
