About the role We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Mine Surveyor to develop the skills and experience needed for a future Mine Surveyor role within our mining operations. This two-year fixed-term position is part of our structured graduate program, designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to key aspects of mine surveying. Throughout the program, you’ll gain valuable on-the-job training in underground and surface surveying, spatial data management, and regulatory compliance, all while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and collaborative environmen Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Qualifications and experience Recently completed or near completion of tertiary qualifications in Surveying (within the last 24 months) Willingness to develop proficiency in mine surveying equipment and systems Exposure to Deswik or similar mine planning/survey software Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Strong communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively in team environments Demonstrated drive, commitment to continuous learning, and a current manual driver’s licence MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
