The Opportunity:

  • Wonderful primary school based in Selby
  • Full-time role to start September 2025 -July 2026
  • Monday - Friday
  • £480-£520 (Term time only)

What the role will entail:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to enhance student learning and foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all.
  • Provide tailored support to students both individually and in small groups, helping those who need extra assistance and those excelling to reach their highest potential.
  • Make a meaningful difference by engaging with students from diverse backgrounds, empowering them to thrive both academically and socially.

The successful graduate must:

  • A degree (2:2 or above) or predicted to graduate 2025.
  • Strong knowledge in English, Maths, and Science (GCSE A*-C).
  • A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
  • The ability to engage and motivate students, keeping them focused and enthusiastic about learning.
  • An enthusiastic, friendly, and confident approach.
  • Commitment to the role for the full academic year (until July 2025).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good behaviour management skills to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • A genuine commitment to helping children reach their full potential.
