WHAT WE WANT

We have an opportunity for a Graduate Program Coordinator III who will oversee program initiatives, ensuring high-quality support for students, and manage the processing of admissions, recruitment, and student success activities. The Graduate Program Coordinator III will also mentor and train graduate program staff and evaluate and improve program practices based on feedback. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Other Requirements and Factors: Work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends. Travel may be required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 years of experience in program coordination or a related field

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of experience in program coordination or a related field
  • TAMU experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational, analytical and record-keeping skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to oversee and coordinate events or activities for graduate students
  • In-depth knowledge of graduate admissions and program operations
  • Knowledge of academic advising principles and student support
  • Ability to evaluate and improve program practices
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND FACTORS

  • This position is security sensitive
  • This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures
  • All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements
