Job Description

JOIN AECOM’S 2025 GRADUATE PROGRAM

We are seeking a Graduate Project Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates who are detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to build a career in project accounting. You will work closely with senior finance and project teams to support financial tracking, reporting, and compliance on live projects across the business.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited University
  • Candidates must be recent 2024 or 2025 graduates to be eligible for AECOM’s Graduate Program.
  • Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) and above.
  • Available to start: September 2025
  • As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with project accounting activities, including setting up projects in financial systems and ensuring accurate coding.
  • Learn the preparation of project-related invoices, client billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Help monitor project budgets, forecasts, costs, and performance against plan.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end project financial closing activities.
  • Work with Project Managers to provide financial data, resolve queries, and support decision-making.
  • Assist in preparing project financial reports and variance analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Support compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and client contract requirements.
  • Learn and use AECOM’s project accounting systems and tools under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Apply strong attention to detail and quality checks in all project finance tasks.
  • Build knowledge of project accounting best practices and financial controls.
