We are currently looking to a Graduate Electrical Project Engineer for our DSEAR team in Livingston. The Graduate Engineer role will be responsible for assisting in all delivery preparation activities in and during operational life of programmed work. In your role as a Graduate Engineer you will receive full training and development and the platform to develop your career within WGM Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Write detailed and accurate risk assessment and method statements (RAMS).
  • Undertake site surveys, taking measurements, photos, asking questions of operations, understanding of process, assessing access and egress.
  • Resolve technical and logistical issues as they arise.
  • Supporting the sites’ needs, material, labour, resources, plant
  • Drive and lead procurement of materials through creation and review of bill of materials.
  • Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within the schedule.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Liaise with clients.
  • Regularly reporting projects progress and updates to Management.
  • Programme management: adherence to programmes and report to management on any discrepancies.
  • To provide support to management team.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
    To be considered for this position you will be educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering. You will be ideally have previous work placements in an engineering environment. Travel to various sites across the country is an essential part of the role so a full UK driving license is essential for this position.

    Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
