Job Title: QHSE & Compliance Officer
Location: Atherton, Manchester, M46
Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

THE POSITION:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Graduate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate passionate about quality management, health & safety, and environmental compliance to kick-start their career in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunity to develop into the QHSE & Compliance Manager role.
Working in conjunction with the QHSE & Compliance Team you will benefit from direct mentoring by our experienced QHSE Manager, gaining hands on experience and guidance as you grow in the role.
Working under the guidance of our QHSE Manager you will support the business and colleagues in the implementation and continual improvements of both systems and service delivery, to ensure our clients receive an industry leading experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QHSE systems and procedures.
  • Assist in conducting audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Help maintain compliance with ISO standards, legislation and legal requirements.
  • Support incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across the organisation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline).
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for QHSE excellence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a QHSE-focused role.
